Something exciting is happening right outside our café doors. London’s downtown core is getting a fresh, thoughtful makeover with the launch of the River District, and we’re thrilled to be part of it.

Nestled at the intersection of Blackfriars, Riverforks, SoHo, and Downtown, the River District is more than just a name on a map. It’s a bold vision for a vibrant, walkable, and bike-friendly community anchored by the beauty of the Thames River.
Last week, we hosted a gathering at London Bicycle Café to help kick off this exciting initiative. Local business owners, community leaders, and changemakers came together over espresso and pastries to imagine the future of this emerging neighbourhood. The energy was incredible. Ideas were flowing. Connections were made. And a shared vision was clear: the River District is going to be a place where culture, commerce, and community come alive.

From our perspective, the River District couldn’t come at a better time. We’ve long believed that life in the city is better when experienced by bike, and this new district will make it easier than ever to do just that. Whether you’re commuting to work, meeting a friend for a coffee, or heading to one of the upcoming summer concerts by the river, the River District is designed for people, not cars.
This summer’s calendar will be full of reasons to explore, including a free outdoor concert series every weekend from May through August. You can count on us to be a central hub for those adventures. We’ll be here with cold drinks, hot coffee, fresh food, bike racks, and friendly faces.
We’re proud to be part of this transformation, and we hope you’ll join us in supporting the River District as it grows. Swing by the café, start your ride here, or just come take in the view from our patio.
Meet me at the River District.
It’s just getting started, and it’s already making waves.
